Community Empowerment is Mark’s Calling

My name is Mark Tashjian, and I’m a small business owner from Georgetown.
I care deeply about the health of our communities, and with this in mind, I’ve decided to step into the arena and run for State Representative in the communities of Ipswich, Georgetown, Hamilton, Newbury, Rowley, and Topsfield.

In the last election, this district was shrouded in controversy, and the election was decided by a single vote. Think of that...just one vote. I want to thank Rep. Lenny Mirra for the hard work he gave to our communities for so many years, and I hope to be an advocate--in his mold--for our towns on the issues that matter:
  • Keeping costs down during a time of high inflation.
  • Having an ACTIVE voice in the legislature to fight against the disastrous proposal to rebuild Whittier Tech.
  • Working to resolve the migrant shelter emergency so that we don’t have to choose between higher costs of healthcare and housing and the protection of undocumented immigrants.
  • Protecting the Ipswich River Watershed through listening, collaboration, and legislative advocacy.
  • Championing public safety for our small towns, ensuring that the men and women who protect our communities receive the respect they deserve.
In order to accomplish these goals and achieve proper representation for our communities, I need your help. With the election just nine months away, would you consider a donation of $50, 100, $500, or $1000 to ensure that our campaign has the resources to share our message for the need for balanced advocacy in the State House?
